Setting Out To Explore And Why We Should

Welcome to my blog, explorer, noob, pioneers and wherever you may fall between those.
Perhaps you've stumbled here by pure luck and have no idea what Inworldz is.
That's delightful! I hope that I can help spread the word of Inworldz; what it is and why you should check it out.
Perhaps, like so many others, you made a name for yourself a few years back and left because there was seemingly no one there and nothing to do. I'm here to tell you that's not the case any longer!

The purpose of this blog is to share my explorations with you.
When Inworldz was still shiny and new, it seemed that all there was to keep us occupied was shopping and clubs, and if an avatar wasn't into those, they were left wanting and bored. Many ran back to Second Life. Because of that, more than a few shop keepers, builders and scripters retreated as well. Crowds of us wanted to visit art galleries, hear concerts, explore parks, take in lectures, visit museums and socalize outside of the club scene.
Over the past couple of years, innumerable advances have been made to the grid many dubbed a replacement for Second Life, and an abundance of those aforementioned scripters and builders returned. Folks who weren't interested in content creation came too. Inworldz is rife with all sorts of interesting things to see, hear, experience and above all, enjoy. Because that's the whole point...to have fun!

So who am I, and why do I think you'll find this blog interesting?
I've been in Inworldz for a few years now as Dragonwriter Salamander. I was trying to make my way in the virtual world back before physics was enabled, and only had Second Life to compare it to. Back then, the two were as different as apples and steak. I was frustrated by how expensive SL had become. I couldn't afford to run our pub on what two DJs brought in and decided to follow a friend to Inworldz. But there, I could barely move, looked dorky and had even less!

I'm thrilled to see the management team and creative minds in charge of Inworldz have made miles of advancements! I still look a little dorky, but travel, and exploration by extension, have become easier and more enjoyable.
Even in my real life, I love to explore so it made sense to me to venture back into Inworldz and explore there too.
I'd be happy to share the wonderful places I find, introduce you to some brilliant  and outgoing people and take you along on my explorations.
